INVADER COMICS PRESENTS GREETINGS FROM THE MAGLEV: A SOLAR-POWERED TALE OF ANARCHY AND REVENGE LIVE ON KICKSTARTER
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
KANSAS CITY, MO 07/07/2023 – Invader Comics is thrilled to announce the launch of an electrifying new comic book project on Kickstarter, Greetings from the MAGLEV. This highly anticipated comic, written by Mark Espinosa and illustrated by Adam Cahoon, takes readers on a thrilling journey through a post-resource-depletion society where revenge becomes the driving force.
In a world where gasoline is but a distant memory, society found itself unraveling overnight when the government's secret about dwindling resources was exposed. To propel the nation forward, corporations joined forces and birthed "The Maglev" – a massive super highway fueled by solar power and driven by magnetic roadways. However, access to this groundbreaking invention is restricted to the wealthy and those daring enough to hijack their way in. Enter a tale of old-fashioned revenge!
"I'd never considered drawing comics until Mark handed me his script for Greetings from the MAGLEV in 2015," said Adam Cahoon, the talented illustrator behind the visually stunning artwork. "The first chapter was 60 pages, and I finished drawing it in 2016. It's been an incredible journey, and I'm excited to share it with readers."
The comic book's Kickstarter campaign captured the attention of fans and enthusiasts, funding in an astounding 33 minutes. It has also been honored with the coveted "Project We Love" designation by Kickstarter. The campaign will run until July 20th, offering backers a chance to support this groundbreaking project and secure their own copies of Greetings from the MAGLEV.
As part of the Kickstarter campaign, backers will have the opportunity to own an exclusive variant cover illustrated by Invader Comics' in-house designer, Michael Nelson. This Kickstarter variant will come bundled with a limited-edition metal bookmark and a digital edition of the comic, making it a must-have for collectors and enthusiasts.
