So, now she's drowning in pre-med when she'd rather be studying classics, folklore, and mythology. But on the eve of her twentieth birthday, as Stephanie prepares to stare into her own personal summer abyss for yet another day...she gets a gift unlike any she could possibly expect.
I really enjoyed PROJECT PATRON but found SEARCH FOR HU to be a bit 'color by numbers' so my opinion on Orlando is somewhat mixed. This sounds like it is leaning into cosmic adventure stuff and that is my jam so I'll definitely give them the chance to knock my socks off. Plus the art sounds top notch.
Thanks for sharing, and reviewing. Can't wait to read it myself!
So I read this based on the review, and I couldn't agree more!
This book was so badass and I can't wait for more. The art is so freaking clean and angular. It really adds to the depth of the "shattering reality" sensabilities to the story. Makes everything come off as sort of a "stained glass" motif.
The main character is both likeable and relatable. And the sprinkling of mythology throughout really brings it all together.
I really enjoyed this book quite a bit. Can't wait for the second issue. Thanks for getting it on my radar!
